Manchester United had a great and hugely exciting summer transfer window, however, the one position they failed to recruit in was the defensive midfield role and that is an area the Red Devils desperately lack. Despite that though, according to recent reports, the club's hierarchy is aware of their need to bring in a new defensive midfielder and will attempt to do just that once the January window opens.
